IYD has four training centres. Our areas of expertise regarding trainings are:

 Social animation;

 Youth work / community work;

 Gender / micro-credit;

 Watershed development;

 Project formulation and management.

Our training centres are also available for like-minded NGOs to conduct their training programs. Contact us for more information.

Residential training centre, Bangalore:

The residential training centre located at IYD’s head office can accommodate 40 trainees in dormitories. Male and female trainees are accommodated in separate rooms. This well-furnished and equipped training centre includes a library. When there are no training programs the rooms are available for students of professional colleges. Contact us for more information.

Chaithanya Human Resource Development Centre:

This centre was established in commemoration of the International Youth Year 1985 , at Arashinakunte village, Nelamangala taluk, Bangalore rural district. The centre is located at National Highway 4, 20 kilometers from Bangalore, and can accommodate 30 to 40 persons in dormitory accommodation. In this rural training centre skill development training is provided.

“Vizhi” Youth Village

This centre for the all-round development of youth is located at T.Andipatti, Madurai district, Tamil Nadu. “Vizhi” means “awake” and on the 6 acres of land of the youth village (skill development) training is provided. From this centre IYD has hosted GRAMNet,, the Tamil Nadu NGO Network on Panchayath Raj and Rural Development. 68 NGOs were trained here by IYD.
